Micro Techniques pops-up in Kingly Court
A collective of Chilean design-makers including Allahuasi, DamaJuana, Daniela Gloger, Manuela Troben Monoco, Paula Leal, Rosalia Jorquera and Walka will be showcasing their jewellery collections at 1.11 Kingly Court from Monday 19th July to Saturday 31st July.
Workshops
Try your hand at the workshops and learn the basis of weaving with horsehair on Saturday 24th and 31st July from 11.00am - 1.00pm. Each workshop costs £10 and includes all materials required. Book your place at info@chilemakers.com.
Late Talk
Enjoy a fasinating conversation along with basketmaker Mary Butcher (artist in residence at the V & A) about the origins of basket weaving with horsehair and how this relates to basketery. Late Talk will be held on Thursday 22nd July from 7.00pm - 9.00pm. Book your place at info@chilemakers.com.
