30 independent boutiques trade places between 2 legendary neighbourhoods, the Lower East Side, NYC & Newburgh Quarter, London.
Throughout October, visitors to the Newburgh Quarter in Carnaby will be treated to a genuine New York experience as 11 of the Lower East Side’s hottest retailers set up pop-up shops for 4 weeks only
The 2 pop-up shops are located at 3 Lowndes Court and 8 Newburgh Street in the Newburgh Quarter. All designers taking part in this project are completely new to London. Heading over from across the pond are Wendy Mink Jewelry, By Robert James, In God We Trust, Reed Space, Zarin Fabric, Kaight, Earnest Sewn, Shut Skateboards, Hairy Mary’s Vintage, Adrienne’s, and Still Life. This is a unique transatlantic event reflecting signature trends in fashion, accessories and lifestyle.
There have been a host of free events throughout October in the Newburgh Quarter to celebrate the project including a discount shopping night and Lower East Side block party. Don't miss the next event on Saturday 31st October - a true American style Halloween Party.
Showing Londoners how to throw a Halloween party NYC style, the New York Halloween Street Party on Saturday 31 October from 6pm will be the month’s finale. There will be prizes for best in show outfits, live music from LES DJ's and loads more.
