Prepare to have a feast at Pitt Cue Co, originally known as a food-truck sensation, this barbeque, beer and bourbon specialist now has a permanent home on Newburgh Street.
Co-founders Jamie Berger and Tom Adams have joined forces with the executive chef from Hawksmoor and the owner of The Albion to launch this new concept.
Main dishes include pulled pork, beef brisket, St. Louis pork and beef ribs. Accompanied by a huge range of authentic sides and extras- smoked baked beans, sprout tops, vinegar slaw, burnt-end mash, Pickle Jar and Virginia peanuts. Everything is cooked over charcoal and wood, which adds rustic flavour. A main and side is under £10.
The restaurant has seating for 30 over 2 floors, from intimate booths to informal ‘at the bar’ dining. There is a no reservations policy for tables and a takeaway option is available.
