At Playlounge big people are as important as little people.

Essentially this is a toyshop - however the owners have taken care not to leave the older generation out of the equation. Playlounge is a space where adults can buy toys for children as well as indulging any personal desires to buy toys for themselves.

They have created a unique store catering for grown-ups and children alike. The products are, innovative, fun-packed, design-conscious and educational and they are constantly on the look out for new and exciting material!

There is a new edition to the store in the shape of a 'Bubblegum Transformer'. This mural was made by leading illustrator Ian Wright using individual bubblegum pellets (you remember - the type that used to come in the bottom of screwballs ice creams) making a multi-coloured transformer looming on the wall of the shop. It's well worth seeing, but no chewing…. It's strictly art!
