Replay was founded in 1981 in Asolo under a project developed by Claudio Buziol.

The name Replay was born during the Argentina World Football Championship in 1978: Claudio Buziol, while watching the games, had the idea of registering ‘replay’ as name for a brand: easy, quick and effective, simply ideal for his project.

Initially specialised in casual shirt-making, in 1985 the company made its dramatic debut in jeanswear, revolutionising and re-inventing the sector by introducing Europeans to ring ring denim by Kurabo, the denim used for the original American jeans. Today the production of fashions for men and women provides a total look for all age groups, running from basic lines to collections characterised by greater fashion content and research. Important licensing agreements have led to diversification in eyewear, underwear, footwear, fragrances and jewels.

Replay is part of the Fashion Box Group that operates throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia, America and Africa with products sold in over 50 nations around the world. The distribution network comprises 5000 traditional sales outlets and 220 single-brand stores that reflect the company's image in all the world's fashion capitals.
