Shoeaholics get excited! This week Carnaby sees the launch of TOY GALLERY, a brand-new and exciting joint retail experience from iconic footwear brand Converse and Luxury British fashion designer JW Anderson.
TOY GALLERY is an exclusive four-day pop-up offering up the newly released “Toy” collection, plus a display of the Converse x JW Anderson Chuck 70 artworks, by 24-year old LA-based artist Delfin Finley.
The pop-up gallery will also be hosting exclusive programs outside of gallery hours to engage and inspire the creative communities of London.
Friday 20 July will see Kimberly Drew, New York Writer, Curator and Activist discuss ‘What is art, anyway’ with Dazed's Arts & Culture Editor, Ashleigh Kane.
On Saturday 21 July London female creative network Babyface will be in conversation with Kusheda Mensah, Christabel Macgreevy and Antonia Marsh regarding the democratisation of art and why the pursuit of fun should be a preoccupation of all artists.
Last but not least, Sunday 22 July will see the Risograph Printer and publishing house Hato Press takeover as they host a zine workshop.
