Darjeeling Express opens in Kingly Court

Hop aboard the Darjeeling Express, the latest restaurant to open in the foodie hub of Kingly Court. The first ever permanent restaurant from supper club superstar Asma Khan, head inside for an incredible menu of North Indian and Bengali cuisine.

Discover mouth-watering textures and flavours with her compelling dishes including nourishing Dhall, tender Methi Chicken, Prawn Malaikari paired with tantalising sides such as Beetroot Chop, Bulandshahr Rogni Roti and Spinach Pakora.

With interiors inspired by Indian train station waiting rooms, take a seat amongst the terracotta pots, blue floor tiles and wooden ceiling fans to enjoy authentic dishes including Papri Chaat and Calcutta Lamb Dum Biryani. There’s also a fantastic offering of sharing platters to be enjoyed with friends and family. Take a look around the restaurant for photographs of Asma's home in Calcutta.

The all-woman kitchen, most of whom began as part-time assistants when Asma started her business 4 years ago, have all been taught to cook by their mothers and grandmothers. For a truly homely experience, Darjeeling Express is a must-visit this summer.
