Top Restaurants for Sharing the Love this Valentine's Day

Sharing is caring. This Valentine’s, we’re celebrating all the dishes made for a plus 1 in Carnaby (or plus 5, if it’s a friend’s night out instead). From mini tacos at Breddos Tacos to a whole Pig’s Head at Le Bab, we’ve put together all the top places for sharing places this Valentine’s Day.

Tasty Tacos

The ultimate winner for sharing plates for all tastes – Breddos Tacos specialise in delicious tacos with hearty meats and fresh fish options. Think Baja Fish with lime mayonnaise and abrol (with an extra of caviar, if you’re out to impress), Masa fried chicken with habanero mayonnaise, pico de gallo, or Crispy pork belly chicarron with red cabbage, tomatillo and x ni pek (a Mayan salsa which name literally means ‘hot as a dogs nose’). The best part? All tacos are served in pairs, so there will be no food envy here.

Kingly Street

Sun Sea and Squid

If you’re a sucker for seafood, dive into CLAW at 21 Kingly Street for sharing plates from the shores. Think Grilled Colchester Oysters with Chilli Butter, Octopus with Fennel and Tomato, and Poke Trout with winter tomatoes, ricotta and horseradish. Not forgetting their oh so special Crab Claws with garlic and lime butter, and Crab Donuts with crab mayo. Not a fan of fish? Their Fried chicken wings with caramel will set hearts aflutter. With cocktails and wine on tap, this will be a date to remember (or not).

Kingly Street

San Valentín

Fall in love at Señor Ceviche this Valentine's Day with their exclusive feasting menu available from 14 - 17 February at £30pp. First, why not share some Calamares with pickled jalapeño miso salsa, then follow up with the Classic Señor Ceviche or the Peruvian BBQ style Seco De Cordero served with black beans and Nikkei rice. Finish the meal with the brand new Peruvian Profiteroles filled with rose creme anglais and dulce de leche sauce, sure to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth.

Enjoy breads straight out of The Good Egg's clay oven; how about Israeli Pita or Seeded Krekerim with dipping plates such as Green Whipped Feta, Marinated Aubergine or the House Labneh. With so many delicious dishes, you’ll want to try more than one; why not try they're Short-rib Shawarma, the Jerusalem Mixed Grill or the Orange and Juniper Octopus.

The Pig’s Head

Not for a first date. The Pig’s Head is a special at kebab connoisseurs Le Bab, available to pre-order on Thursday – Sundays. Served with their house-made flatbreads, pomegranate molasses gravy, sumac onions and mixed pickles for £38, this is a sharing dish made for the brave.
