Mother Mash is a modern-British restaurant specializing in freshly made mashed potato.
The restaurant - named in tribute to the delicious mash served up by the owner's mother - is a new dining experience with a focus on delivering fresh, nutritious and uncomplicated British food.
At the heart of the menu is, of course, mashed potato made from locally sourced potatoes. Each portion is 'mashed up' freshly to order ensuring a perfect light and fluffy consistency. Diners can choose from a range of six traditional British mash flavours. Each dish is accompanied by a choice of 9 different flavours of British gourmet sausages, six traditional home-made pies and 5 varieties of fresh piping-hot hearty gravies.
The simplicity of the menu is echoed in the restaurants interior which takes its design cues from the old east end pie and mash shops. Funky, pared down wooden benches and marble table tops create a striking dining environment. And when combined with Mother Mash's quirky branding and tongue in cheek attitude it's sure to appeal to Carnaby Street's community of creative workers, residents and shoppers.
