The Good Egg is the Jerusalem inspired restaurant brought to you by the trio of chefs, Joel Braham, Alex Coppard and Oded Mizrachi.
Known for being the ideal brunch spot, you can expect to see favourites like their award-winning shakshuka, babka French toast, Sabih (Iraqi aubergine pita with tahini, amba and zhoug), shawarma hash and salt beef reuben sandwich. (Don't leave without picking up a slice of their famous babka from the bakery!) The dinner menu celebrates traditional cooking styles using charcoal-fired Israeli Mangals, a clay oven and an on-site smoker; all-time evening favourites are the za’atar fried chicken thighs, the aubergine shawarma and the grilled octopus. Mon-Fri 4-7pm, come down a little earlier and start the night with Happy Hour, when all cocktails are just £5.
