In March 2014, oyster specialists and wholesale seafood suppliers Wright Brothers relaunched their Kingly Street restaurant, following a major redesign of the interiors.

The tantalising menu features modern seafood dishes with an occasional Asian twist. Signature dishes include Seabass Carpaccio; Roasted Skate Wing with Chilli Jam; King crab, lemon oil & parsley and Whole black pepper crab. Two signature dishes, both designed to share are the ‘Chargrilled Wagyu beef bavette steak with half a grilled lobster & fries’, and the unforgettable ‘Slow roasted lamb shoulder, oysters and butter lettuce and kimchi’.

The raw menu features classic fruits de mer, ceviche and tartare, alongside an extensive variety of oysters served ‘naked’ or ‘dressed’, sourced from their own Duchy Oyster Farm, as well as from Scotland, Ireland, France, the Channel Islands and Canada. Dressed oyster varieties include ‘Champagne Granita’, ‘Burnt Butter and Dill’ and ‘Chilli Jam’.

New features at Wright Brothers Soho include a custom built bar, upstairs restaurant, banquet seating and a private dining area, all set in a seductive and timeless interior. The bar will serve classic cocktails, and during warmer months, will spill out onto Kingly Court, offering an area for alfresco drinks and light dining.

Another key feature is the ‘The Cage’, a semi-private dining room with a supersized industrial structure modelled on the oyster cages that the Wright Brothers use on their own oyster farm. The cage walls can be folded into different configurations, creating either a more intimate dining party space for the evening, or opening up into more casual dining booths during the day.

The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, and an all-day menu is available in the oyster bar.
