The tantalising menu at Wright Brothers features modern seafood dishes with an occasional Asian twist. Their menu changes regularly and includes: East Sussex crab, black pepper, almonds & yoghurt ; chargrilled wild Atlantic prawns & chilli oil; mussels in a panang curry sauce; and the unforgettable roast Dorset cod fillet, braised butter beans, chorizo & shellfish aioli.
The raw menu features classic fruits de mer, ceviche and tartare, alongside an extensive variety of oysters served ‘naked’, ‘dressed’ and ‘cooked’, sourced from their own wholesale company, from Scotland, Ireland, France, the Channel Islands and Canada. Dressed oyster varieties include ‘kizami wasabi and ‘cucumber sorbet & black pepper’.
The restaurant includes a custom built bar, upstairs restaurant and banquet seating, all set in a seductive and timeless interior. The bar serves classic cocktails, and during warmer months, will spill out onto Kingly Court, offering an area for alfresco drinks and light dining.
Visitors can also dine in ‘The Cage’, a semi-private dining room with a supersized industrial structure modelled on the lobster cages. The cage walls can be folded into different configurations, creating either a more intimate dining party space for the evening, or a space seating 18 people across two tables.
The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, £1 oysters are available from 12-3pm daily.
